Welcome to the Shacklefoot beach cottage.

We offer a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home located just a few steps from the beach in Fernandina Beach, Fl.  Our cottage has accommodations for up to 8 people with 1 full sized bed, 2 queen size and a fold out full-size sleeper sofa. The kitchen has all the dishware and utensils you may need and there is a screened-in front porch facing the ocean for enjoying your morning coffee or just relaxing and reading a book in the shade. We also have a large deck on the rear ( 14 x 22 ) to eat out, soak in some sun, or enjoy the sunsets and evening breezes.  The cottage is located at 1023 Ocean Ave., close to the north end of Amelia Island and is within minutes of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

We offer weekly rentals only between May 1 and Sept. 30. at the rate of $1600.00 from Sun. 12pm to Sat. 4PM. During the off-season the house is available for $1400.00/Week or $200.00/Day with a 2 day minimum. All rentals require a $100.00 deposit in advance within 2 weeks of reservation. Some off-season blackout dates will apply. We will not hold reservations until a deposit is received.

We maintain a strict No Pets policy. We love our furry family members as much as you love yours but please make other arrangements for them.

Please note, we do not supply bed linens or towels.

We will begin accepting reservations for 2025 on January 1, 2025.  If you would like to lock in a slot for next summer then please don't delay as the most popular rental slots tend to fill rapidly.
